Roof Options
At Tyneside we offer two exceptional roofing systems to homeowners across the North East. For those who desire a light-filled, sun-soaked space, the Ultraframe glazed roof system is an ideal choice. Featuring high-performance double glazing and a variety of tinted options, the Ultraframe glass roof allows you to enjoy plenty of natural light and bring the outside in.
Alternatively, if exceptional thermal efficiency is your priority, we also offer the innovative Supalite tiled roof system. The Supalite roof utilises lightweight, insulating tiles to create a comfortable and versatile space you can enjoy year-round. And don't worry about sacrificing natural light! The Supalite system can be further enhanced with Sky Vista Glass Panels, allowing you to increase the amount of natural light in your space.
Thermal Efficiency
Whichever stunning conservatory style you choose, both our Ultraframe and Supalite roof systems prioritise your comfort and peace of mind. Both options are crafted with exceptional thermal efficiency in mind, keeping your conservatory cool in the summer and cosy in the winter.
Additionally, you can trust in our weatherproof designs to shield your conservatory from the even the worst of the North East weather!

Ask UsConservatories are known for their predominantly glazed roofs, allowing for maximum natural light and a connection to the outdoors. Orangeries, on the other hand, often incorporate brick pillars for a more permanent feel and typically feature a solid roof with integrated windows instead of a glazed roof.
Yes! We are passionate about turning your conservatory dreams into reality. Our expert team can collaborate with you on a completely bespoke design, tailored to your exact needs, personal preferences, and desired functionality.
Adding a conservatory offers several advantages. It increases your floor space without the need for a full home extension, providing a cost-effective solution for expanding your home. Conservatories flood your new living space with natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. They can also increase the value of your property and enhance its overall appeal.
Usually not. Planning permission is not needed to install a 3-metre-long conservatory on a semi-detached property and a 4-metre-long conservatory on a detached home. If you do need planning permission, the team at Tyneside Home Improvements will organise it on your behalf.
While there are so many different types of conservatories and roof types, and it can feel overwhelming trying to find the best choice for you, our friendly team is here to help! We consider several factors when helping you choose the perfect conservatory type, including the architectural style of your home, your desired level of natural light, how you plan to use the space, and of course, your budget.
